Are you frustrated?

You know that Africa is a continent full of opportunities and challenges. You also know that effective, visionary, and inclusive leadership is the key to unlocking Africa’s potential. But like many Africans, you are frustrated…

01.
Lack of Accountability

Many leaders in Africa fail to deliver on their promises and responsibilities. They do not face any consequences for their actions or inactions. This erodes the trust and confidence of the people.

02.
Lack of Innovation

Many leaders in Africa rely on outdated and ineffective solutions to the complex and dynamic challenges that the continent faces. They do not embrace change or creativity. This hinders the progress and development of Africa.

03.
Lack of Collaboration

Many leaders in Africa work in silos and compete with each other. They do not share information or resources. They do not seek or value diverse perspectives and inputs. This limits the potential and impact of Africa.

04.
Lack of Inclusion

Many leaders in Africa exclude or marginalize certain groups of people, such as women, youth, and minorities. They do not recognize or respect their rights and contributions. This deprives Africa of its human capital and social cohesion.

You may wonder how you can make a difference in the post-Covid era, when Africa needs a new model of leadership that works for everyone.

What Students are Saying

When a friend recommended and registered for me to attend the Women’s Leadership Course, I was going through a rough patch. Initially I was skeptical and just thought, “oh well”. My thoughts and sentiments changed after I attended the session on Forgiveness.
I realized how well suited the course was to the context of African women and the different challenges we go through.

The leadership course is just what every woman needs to give them the right perspective as they navigate their day to day lives. The course builds character, challenges stereotypes and encourages innovation and creativity.

I encourage all who are considering participating to go ahead and enroll, it’s worth every minute of your time!

I would like to focus on the Map of Meaning. It really helped me plan my life by making me present to what is meaningful in my life.

This course or module enables participants to personalize the learnings to their individual faith changemaking journey. The Course Leaders hold the space for insightful conversations. The diversity of participants creates a great environment to explore what is meaningful in one’s life.

Since taking the course I have taken the initiative to reach out to other people in my profession and network more. I feel that step by step, I am becoming a better and happier version of myself.

It brought a paradigm shift to how I saw leadership and awakened me to the fact that as a woman, I am leader by default, not just because of my influence in the marketplace or political circles, but in my home.

The two sessions that stood out the most for me the most were Integrity and Forgiveness; where I realised that integrity is not only about being honest and accountable for public resources, but also for the small things I do. Hence, Integrity is not what people think of me, but who I am when nobody is watching. Forgiveness! Wow! This really hit home for me. I realised I was carrying grudges I should have dropped years ago. After this session, I forgave myself and forgave others and it set my soul free.
